Open Position: OT - Therapy Rehab Acute Care

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule with options for Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday
* Must be open to working a weekend shift; weekend block schedules also possible
* Guaranteed hours: facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS
* California Occupational Therapy license required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Primary focus on evaluation and treatment of general acute care patients with diagnoses including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, hip fractures, dementia, ADL deficits, and falls
* Responsibilities include ADL and upper extremity assessments with a focus on functional outcomes
* Skills required: Acute Care, Adaptive Equipment
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start

The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers free parking for staff.
