Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Floating required to sister facilities and rotating through all buildings as needed
* Daily caseload varies per shift and location
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 130 patients
* 3 rooms available for procedures
* Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 40 orientation hours required
* 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center experience required
* Siemens equipment experience required
* Peripheral IV (PIV) experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
* South Carolina license required and must be in hand at time of start
* Radiation badge must be supplied by agency
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Parking: Nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Skills include: CT procedures such as abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, soft tissue neck, sinuses, vascular CTA, coronary CTA, brain perfusion, multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering, myelography, colonography, and more
* Procedures include: biopsies, drainage, aspirations, preparation and administration of contrast media, and interventional radiology procedures preferred
* Equipment used: Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
* PACS and Sectra experience preferred
* Must attend all staff meetings

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. It operates as a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center while also offering routine studies, outpatient services, cardiac care, and interventional radiology procedures. The facility is equipped with advanced Siemens CT imaging technology and provides a dynamic, high-acuity environment for imaging professionals.
