Job Details:

* Day shift position with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* 13-week contract duration
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 14 patients per technologist
* Daily census of 55 patients with 55 visits per day
* Block scheduling available
* No weekend coverage required
* No on-call requirements
* No floating between units or sister facilities required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* One pre-approved time off request permitted
* 40-hour orientation period
* Treats adult patient population with diagnoses including all cancer types
* Performs and supports special procedures including SBRT, SRS, and HDR
* Operates Varian TrueBeam x2 machines, Gamma Med HDR, and RT Align equipment
* Works with Radiation Oncologist, Physicist, and Dosimetry with on-site real-time support
* Skills required include: IMRT, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, Respiratory Gating, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Tumor Localization, Radiation Safety, and Isolation Precautions/PPE
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT T, BLS, and MD State License (pending accepted)

Facility:

This 327-bed teaching facility provides comprehensive medical services and supports a wide range of specialties. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretary services. The radiation oncology department is equipped with advanced technology and maintains on-site specialist support to deliver high-quality patient care.
