Job Details:

* Night shift position (12-hour shifts)
* Rotating weekends required
* No on-call required
* Block schedules not required
* Position may float between units
* Patient ratios: 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Any color
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (NRP preferred)
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Provide care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Skills required include triage, IV placement and maintenance, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and management of mental and behavioral health conditions

Facility:

This critical access facility operates with 23 total staffed beds and a dedicated emergency department with 11 beds across 7 rooms. The facility maintains an average daily census of 16 patients and sees approximately 16 visits per day. Interdisciplinary support services available include respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy, ensuring comprehensive care for a diverse patient population.
