Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend shifts required
* No floating between units
* Block schedules not required
* Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
* Biopsy experience preferred but not required
* Must be familiar with Hologic equipment
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Patients include adults and geriatric age groups
* 5 mammography rooms available
* Special procedures include breast biopsies, localizations, and savvy scout
* Special equipment includes Trident and Hologic systems
* Required skills: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Digital Quality Assurance Procedures, Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsy, Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Oregon license, Mammography-ARRT
* Scrub color: Any color permitted
* Parking is available at no fee

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 418 staffed beds and 450 total beds, providing a wide range of medical services across multiple departments. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and radiology. The mammography department specializes in advanced imaging procedures and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support comprehensive breast care services.
