Opportunity:

Travel - RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 13-week assignment
* LDRP unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
* Unit contains 7 beds with a minimum of 3 staff members per shift
* Night shift staffing consists of 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech
* Patient ratios follow AWHONN acuity staffing standards
* Work with GE Centricity Perinatal equipment and EPIC EMR system
* Perform procedures including induction of labor, vaginal delivery, C-sections, tubal ligation, labor triage, antepartum care, D&C, vaginal repair, NST, IUFD, steroid injections, and external cephalic version
* Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience required
* AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
* Labor triage experience required
* OR circulator experience required (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair, etc.)
* Newborn resuscitation experience required (attending delivery for low-risk newborns)
* IUPC/FSE placement preferred
* Experience assisting with JADA/COOKS/BAKRI placement preferred
* May float to PCT role during low census periods
* Weekends scheduled as needed to fill unit needs
* On-call not required but available
* Royal blue scrubs required - scrubs provided
* Required certifications: RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

This healthcare facility operates a Level 2 NICU supporting patients at 32 weeks gestation and 1,500 grams or greater. The labor and delivery unit provides comprehensive obstetric care including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum services. The facility is equipped with modern perinatal technology and utilizes an advanced electronic medical records system to support high-quality patient care.
