Job Details:
* Block schedule required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Day shift patient ratio of 1:3 and night shift patient ratio of 1:4
* Float between units and sister facilities nearby contracted facility as needed
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Any color
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: Blood product administration, central line care and management, chest tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip management and titration, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience, peripheral and PICC line management, seizure disorders, starting and maintaining IVs, substance withdrawal, telemetry, and insulin drip titration
* Care for adult patients with diagnoses including congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, acute respiratory failure, sepsis, syncope, stroke, ETOH withdrawal, chest pain, and DKA
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and unit secretary
* 42-bed unit with a daily census of 35
* 24-hour orientation provided
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides interdisciplinary support through IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams.
