Opportunity:

Critical Care RN

Job Details:

* Assess patient conditions and plan and implement individualized patient care plans
* Treat wounds and provide advanced life support as needed
* Assist physicians in performing medical procedures
* Observe and accurately record patient vital signs
* Ensure proper function of ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment, including ventilator and IABP adjustments
* Administer intravenous fluids and medications
* Perform suctioning procedures as required
* Collaborate with fellow critical care team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
* Respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols
* Serve as a patient advocate throughout the care process
* Provide education and emotional support to patient families
* Care for pre- and post-operative patients as needed
* Must hold active ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
* Must hold a Texas RN or multi-state RN license
