Opportunity:

LVN - Outpatient

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
* Possibly 1 weekend per month to assist the Urgent Care location if needed
* Floating required
* No on-call requirements
* 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting required
* Active California LVN license required at time of submission temporary licenses not accepted
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only), IV certification, and blood withdrawal certification
* Phlebotomy and IV start skills required
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Perform patient care assessments and a variety of medically related tasks in an ambulatory care setting
* Conduct initial nursing intake and prepare patients for examination
* Review current medications and medical records to support patient visits
* Record patient information including vital signs and reason for visit
* Administer prescribed medications, injections, or IV medications using best practice
* Set up exam and procedure rooms appropriately based on patient visit needs
* Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Skills required include blood glucose monitoring, phlebotomy, EKG/ECG, wound care, vaccine administration, telephone triage, foley catheter insertion, and vital sign monitoring

The facility supports physicians and nursing staff in delivering comprehensive ambulatory care services across multiple specialties.
