Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - UCHealth Parkview Pueblo West Hospital

Job Details:

* Schedule options available: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call responsibilities
* Block scheduling type
* Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Colorado state licensure required (processing can take up to 6 weeks)
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Epic charting system experience required
* Treats patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1 with approximately 130 visits per day
* Skills required include but are not limited to: orthopedics, outpatient clinic, gait training, extremity mobilization, spinal mobilization, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and home exercise program development
* Experience with conditions such as low back pain, degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease, total hip and knee replacements, post-op shoulder and spinal surgery, and sports medicine preferred
* Familiarity with adaptive and assistive devices, therapeutic modalities including E-stim, TENS, moist heat, cryotherapy, and traction preferred
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract

The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and provides interdisciplinary support through its physical therapy department. The organization maintains a structured onboarding process and emphasizes strong collaboration between therapy staff and unit leadership to ensure quality patient care.
