Open Position: RN - Infusion

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2176.20

Opportunity:

Oncology/Infusion RN

Job Details:

* 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 12 patients with a 1:4 patient ratio
* Work setting: Infusion Center and Outpatient Oncology
* No call requirement
* No floating required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Charting system: Cerner experience required
* Minimum 2 years RN experience required with minimum 1 year of in-specialty experience
* Required certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC); OCN preferred
* WV or Compact License required
* Infusion center experience required; inpatient and outpatient oncology experience required
* Administer biotherapy including active immunotherapy, interferons, interleukins, and cytotoxic therapy
* Recognize and manage treatment side effects
* Care for patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses including breast, lung, brain, colorectal, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, melanoma, ovarian, uterine, pancreatic, prostate, bladder, kidney, and liver cancers
* Perform skills including accessing and managing ports, central line blood draws, IV push administration of chemotherapy, infusion pump management, phlebotomy, and PICC line care
* Interdisciplinary support available from phlebotomy and pharmacy teams
* Patient age groups served: adults and geriatrics
