Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* On-call required with 4 to 6 call shifts per 4-week period
* Holiday call may be required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be able to circulate general surgery cases including Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Pancreatic/Biliary, and Bariatrics
* Must be able to scrub general OR cases including Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic/Biliary, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, and Bariatric procedures
* First-time travelers accepted only with 5 or more years of experience
* South Carolina or multi-state RN license must be in hand at start of contract
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS - must be AHA certified
* Radiation badge required and will be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Facility may call off traveler one shift per two-week pay period
* All requested time off must be provided at the time of submission and approvals are based on departmental needs

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support. The OR consists of 10 rooms handling up to 28 cases per day, with a patient ratio of 1:1.
