Opportunity:

Infusion RN

Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Daily caseload of 70 patients with a 1:4 patient ratio
* No on-call requirements
* No floating within facility or to sister facilities
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS; ONC preferred
* Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required
* BLS must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Required skills include: CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy), Prophylactic Treatments, and Radiation Safety
* Additional required skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood and blood products, Administration of chemotherapy, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, Infusion pump management, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal of cytotoxic spills, Monitoring Chemotherapy, PICC line care, Starting and maintaining IVs
* Preferred skills: Infusion Center experience, Inpatient and Outpatient Oncology experience
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available from Phlebotomy, Radiology, and Pharmacy
