Job Details:

* MA-C certification required
* 4x10 shift schedule with hours varying between 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
* No weekends required
* No on-call required
* 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required
* Pediatrics experience preferred but not required
* No blood draw required
* Duties include rooming patients, collecting vitals and medical history, and setting up rooms
* Primarily supporting one provider with ability to support other providers as needed within a 20-provider practice (APP/MD/DO)
* Must be comfortable floating within scope to meet facility needs as needed
* Reliable personal transportation required
* Charting system: Epic
* Required certifications: BLS, MA-C (CPT)
* Skills include adult and pediatric outpatient clinic, height/weight, vital signs, recording history/medications/allergies, urine dipstick/urinalysis, pulse oximetry, labeling specimens, and stocking supplies
* Temp-to-perm role; candidates must be open to permanent placement

Facility:

This outpatient family medicine clinic operates as a large multi-provider practice supporting a team of 20 providers including APPs, MDs, and DOs. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and focuses on providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. The clinic emphasizes a collaborative care environment where medical assistants play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring smooth daily operations.
