Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work 4x10 shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Weekend shifts required
* On-call required: 14-15 days of call in a 6-week period
* Call requirements are 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays and 5:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday for weekends on a rotation per call team
* Must live within a 30-minute radius of the hospital while on call
* No on-site call accommodations available
* 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* Strong Cath Lab Tech and IR experience required
* Minimum of 1 approved request for time off; no pre-approved time off
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS with IR Tech experience, ARRT R
* Perform procedures including cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, STEMI response, vascular procedures including port placement and thrombectomy, peripheral vascular, cardiac rhythm procedures including temporary and permanent device implantation, cardioversion, TEE, and EP studies, and pain management procedures including RF ablation and steroid injections
* Operate equipment including Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy suites, Philips ISVC PACS, Philips Xper hemodynamics, and Maquet IABP
* Work in 4 procedure rooms covering caths, devices including ICDs, pacemakers, and Linqs, pain procedures, EP studies with ablations, and peripheral vascular angiography
* Facility performs an average of 280 cases per month with 8-12 STEMIs per month
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Preferred skills include pacemaker experience, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
* Charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred

This facility features a high-volume procedural Cath Lab environment treating vascular, cardiac, and pain management patients. The unit operates four fully equipped procedure rooms and maintains a dedicated four-person STEMI call team at all times. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services to ensure well-rounded patient care.
