Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Holy Name Physician Practices Float Pool

Job Details:

* 8.5-hour scheduled shifts including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
* Office hours vary between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM with flexible shift times including 7:30 AM?4:00 PM, 8:00 AM?4:30 PM, 8:30 AM?5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM?5:30 PM based on practice needs
* No weekend requirement
* No on-call requirement
* Float Pool position requiring flexibility to work across multiple physician practice locations throughout Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
* Assist with front desk patient calls, pharmacy calls, and patient refill requests
* Schedule patient appointments
* Room patients, obtain vital signs, record patient history, medications, and allergies
* Prepare patients for examination
* Charting system varies by location
* Workers should expect to work some holidays based on the number of holidays within the assignment
* Required certifications: BLS, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
* Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish or Korean; experience in Adult Outpatient Clinic, chart preparation, ordering supplies, and telephone triage
