Opportunity:

Urology Medical Assistant (MA-C or MA-R)

Job Details:

* Schedule is 4x9-hour shifts plus 1x4-hour shift, Monday through Friday with weekends off
* Four days per week: 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM
* One day per week: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (half day alternates depending on the physician's OR day)
* Required to float to the Ravenna clinic location on Mondays
* No on-call or weekend requirements
* Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) preferred; Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) with experience in a procedural-heavy clinic such as Urology, Otolaryngology, or Dermatology will also be considered
* Minimum 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting required
* Experience in a procedural-heavy clinic setting is ideal
* Reliable personal transportation required; public transportation is not acceptable
* Scrubs will be provided
* Charting system: EPIC (experience preferred)
* See approximately 18 patients per day across 2 rooms
* Patient population: Adults with general urology diagnoses
* Required to operate special equipment including Trophon, Ultrasound Bx machine, and Bladder Scanner
* Required skills include obtaining vital signs, recording patient history/medications/allergies, rooming patients, and labeling specimens
* Required procedures include Cystoscopy, Prostate Biopsy, Bladder Scans (PVRS), and setting up and maintaining a sterile field
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA

This outpatient clinic specializes in urology and serves a variety of specialties across multiple clinic locations. The facility is equipped to handle a range of procedural care and utilizes modern medical equipment to support patient treatment. The clinic operates Monday through Friday and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient environment.
