Opportunity:

TRAVEL-Surgical First Assistant

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment working 36 hours per week
* Day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
* On-call requirements every third weekend and every third weekday
* Weekend requirements include rotating call every third weekend
* Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) performing cardiac first assist and vein harvesting procedures
* Typical procedures include CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, open and endoscopic aorta repair, and thoracic procedures
* Minimum 2 years of independent Endoscopic Vein Harvest experience utilizing either Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro required
* Minimum 2 years of Open Heart First Assist experience required
* Required certifications: CSFA, CFA, or SA-C
* Floating to Main OR may be required
* Scrubs provided by the hospital

This facility is a full-service hospital featuring a cardiovascular operating room with 2.5 CVORs dedicated to complex cardiac and thoracic procedures. The surgical department supports a wide range of advanced procedures including open heart surgery, valve repair and replacement, and endovascular interventions. The facility maintains a collaborative environment and is equipped with modern technology to support comprehensive cardiovascular care.
