Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Three 12-hour shifts per week with 36/40 guaranteed hours
* 13-week assignment
* Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview
* Call requirements to be discussed during interview
* Progressive Care Unit with 18 beds and 4:1 patient ratios
* PCU or ICU experience required (minimum 2 years)
* BSN preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Floating policy applies as needed
* Procedures performed on unit to be discussed during interview
* Patient experience includes hourly safety rounding, bedside shift report, and sit to commit
* Scrubs required; specific color to be confirmed
* No artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails permitted; nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings

Facility:

This facility is a full-service acute care hospital offering a wide range of medical services including progressive care and renal specialty services. The PCU unit consists of 18 beds with a 4:1 patient ratio, staffed to support progressive care needs. The facility utilizes Meditech as its documentation system and maintains high standards for patient care, including hourly safety rounding and bedside shift reporting practices.
