Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on a rotating schedule
* Schedule includes 4 days at 10-hour shifts or 5 days at 8-hour shifts per week
* Heavy weekend rotation required, including 2-3 weekends per month covering Saturday and Sunday
* 26-week assignment length
* Work in an inpatient acute care facility on the 5th floor of the main hospital building
* Patient ratio of 8-10 patients daily
* No on-call requirements
* Acute care experience required
* OT Certification required for this assignment
* Work independently as part of a therapy team of 60 providers including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
* Use EPIC electronic medical records system
* Dress code: Light green scrubs
* Alaska state fingerprint and state background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to starting

This facility is a 175-bed inpatient acute care hospital offering comprehensive rehabilitation services. The rehab services unit operates with a large team of therapy providers and supports a diverse range of patient needs across disciplines including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology. The facility is equipped with modern technology including EPIC electronic medical records to support efficient and high-quality patient care.
