Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Travel RN assignment in a Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU
* Patient ratios of 2:1
* 15-bed PICU unit with a staff of 38
* Day shift team includes Intensivist, RN, Desk Tech, RT, Dietary, and Case Management
* Work with General CR Monitoring equipment
* EMR system: Meditech/CPN
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital PICU RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and PALS
* Perform typical unit procedures including IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
* CRRT experience preferred
* APHON certification preferred
* Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred
* Must work well under pressure and in a teaching hospital environment
* Patient care experience is a priority

This Level II Trauma facility is home to a dedicated Pediatric ICU within a children's hospital setting. The unit operates with a robust team of intensivists, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, dietary staff, and case management professionals across both day and night shifts. The facility is a teaching hospital environment that prioritizes high-quality patient care and utilizes modern monitoring equipment and electronic medical record systems to support clinical staff.
