Open Position: Sleep Tech - Polysomnographer

Job Details:

* Block schedule required
* Weekends required - Friday night shift will extend into Saturday morning
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for night shifts
* Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics
* 4-room, 4-bed sleep study unit with approximately 15 visits per day
* Perform sleep studies including baseline sleep polysomnography, MSLT, and PSG scoring
* Work with patients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and PLMS
* Proficiency required with sleep equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, and VPAP
* Skills required include EEG, ECG, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, O2 saturation monitoring, oxygen administration, and respiratory inductance plethysmography (RIP)
* Experience with cardiac abnormalities, Cheyne-Stokes, complex sleep apnea, hypopnea, periodic limb movement (PLM), and periodic breathing required
* Charting via Epic - experience required
* Scrub color: any color
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, RPSGT, or Polysomnography License (either specialty certification accepted)
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

This short-term acute care facility features 108 total staff beds and offers a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides scrubs for staff in specialized units including OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child. Parking is available at no cost to staff, and the facility maintains a structured, patient-centered environment with interdisciplinary support.
