MRI Technologist

Job Details:

* Schedule options: 3 twelve-hour shifts or 2 twelve-hour shifts plus 2 eight-hour shifts per week
* Shift times: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM or 8:00 AM 8:30 PM / 6:00 AM 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
* Rotating weekends required with call coverage until 9:00 PM
* No overnight shifts
* Block scheduling
* 4 weekend shifts per contract
* Call required until 9:00 PM
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS (AHA only)
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
* Proficiency with a broad range of MRI procedures including brain, breast, cardiac, cervical, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremity imaging
* Experience with MR angiography, MR venography, MRCP, and contrast media preparation and administration
* Familiarity with Siemens equipment preferred
* Experience with surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging, and spinal trauma protocols
* Must be comfortable treating patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Active PA or Compact license required
* Candidates must be available to work every other holiday
