Job Details:

* 3x12-hour shifts per week with 0645 starts, with occasional float to 0845 and 1045 starts
* Schedule runs Sunday through Saturday with weekdays varying weekly based on staffing needs
* Must work 3 night shifts per assignment
* On-call required with a maximum of 3 call shifts in an 8-week schedule period
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units required
* Scrubs provided
* Minimum 3 years of overall OR experience required
* Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required - hard stop
* Travel experience required
* No first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and DORA
* Experience required in the following specialties - hard stops: General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
* Proficiency with a broad range of surgical procedures including but not limited to: abdominal hysterectomy, craniotomy, laparoscopic assisted cases, lumbar fusion, trauma cases, Whipple procedure, ALIF, XLIF, cholecystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, radical neck dissection, thyroidectomy, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy, mastectomy with TRAM flap reconstruction, free flap microvascular, and more
* Unit consists of 45 ORs within a Level 1 Trauma Center with a daily census of 90-110
* Maximum of 10 pre-approved time off days per 13-week contract
* Time off not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2?September 12, 2026; October 25?November 4, 2026; November 22?December 2, 2026; December 20?January 3, 2027

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center operating a large surgical suite with 45 operating rooms that handle every type of surgical procedure across multiple specialties including general surgery, GU/GYN, neurosurgery, ENT, and plastics. The facility supports an adult patient population with a daily census of 90-110 and offers robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, social services, interpretation services, and transportation.
