Job Details:

* 3x12-hour shifts per week, Sunday through Saturday
* Shifts begin at 6:45 AM with occasional float starts at 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM
* Weekday assignments will vary weekly based on staffing needs
* Must work 3 night shifts per assignment
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* On-call required with a maximum of 3 call shifts per 8-week schedule period
* Float required within scope to meet facility needs between like units
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Minimum 3 years of overall OR experience required
* Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required - hard stop
* Travel experience required; no first-time travelers accepted
* Experience in the following specialties required - hard stop: General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
* Required certifications: BLS and DORA
* Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to: abdominal hysterectomy, craniotomy, laparoscopic assisted cases, lumbar fusion, nephrectomy, Whipple procedure, ALIF, XLIF, radical neck dissection, tracheostomy, free flap microvascular, and trauma cases
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO not permitted during the following blackout periods: September 2 September 12, 2026; October 25 November 4, 2026; November 22 December 2, 2026; and December 20 January 3, 2027

Facility:

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center featuring 45 operating rooms and serves a daily census of 90 to 110 patients. The facility performs a comprehensive range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including general surgery, GU/GYN, neurosurgery, ENT, and plastics. Interdisciplinary support services include respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
