Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery / Postpartum / NICU

Job Details:

* Night shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 6:15 PM to 5:45 AM
* 36 or 48 hours per week
* Labor experience required; Postpartum experience preferred; Level 2 nursery experience required
* NICU experience required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Provide health education to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Scrubs provided if needed; otherwise eggplant colored scrubs required
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* California RN licensure required
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
