MA/PSR - Front and Back Office

Job Details:

* Combined front and back office Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative role
* Chaperone high-profile patients through all aspects of medical care including enrollment, check-in, payment, imaging, and provider visits
* Daily census of 5 to 10 patients per day with patients spending up to 4 hours per visit receiving VIP treatment
* Floating between locations required - must be flexible
* No weekend shifts required
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Professional appearance is required at all times
* Outstanding customer service skills required - experience with high-end sales or high-profile clientele strongly preferred
* 3 years of outpatient clinic experience required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC only)
* Education: High School Diploma or GED required
* Experience with Epic charting system required
* Must have current experience with patient check-in/check-out and registration
* HMO/PPO insurance knowledge required
* High volume call handling experience required
* Room turnover experience required
* Venipuncture expertise required
* Patient age groups served: Adults and Geriatrics
* Skills required include: vital signs, EKG/ECG, venipuncture, urinalysis, insurance verification, rooming patients, scheduling appointments, and referrals
