TRAVEL RN PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week guaranteed
* Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the 4th floor of the Main Tower
* Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
* Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs, and 4 PCTs
* 36-bed unit utilizing Meditech EMR system
* Must have critical thinking skills and EKG interpretation skills
* Prior experience titrating cardiac medications preferred
* Perform occasional paracentesis or thoracentesis procedures
* Team-oriented personality required
* May float to ICU or Med-Surg as needed
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

The unit is located on the 4th floor of the main tower and utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system. The facility maintains structured staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care and supports a collaborative, team-oriented environment for its clinical staff.
