Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment on the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit
* Day shift hours from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, rotating schedule of 3 shifts one week and 2 shifts the next week
* Every other weekend requirement
* On-call requirement of 1 call shift per week with potential for 2 call shifts on weeks with only 2 scheduled shifts
* Unit has 8 beds with a staff of 19
* Patient ratios of 2:1 for labor patients and 4:1 for couplets (mother/baby)
* Labor and delivery experience required
* Nursery experience required
* C-section experience preferred
* Perform deliveries and recovery procedures
* Perform newborn testing including CCHD, Newborn Metabolic Screening, Bilirubin, and Hearing Screening
* Work with fetal monitors and Meditech/CPN EMR system
* May float occasionally as a sitter in ED or Med/Surg
* Hospital provides scrubs
* Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and CEFM or AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
