RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds
* Patient ratios of 4-6:1
* Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 2-3 RNs
* Minimum 1 year of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN, and NRP
* OB experience, med-surg experience, and GYN experience preferred
* Perform fetal monitoring including non-stress tests (NSTs)
* Provide care for high-risk pregnancies including PPROM, preeclampsia, placenta previa, and preterm labor
* Support post-operative gynecological and urogynecology surgery patients
* Care for GYN oncology post-op patients, women's health med-surg, postpartum NICU mothers, and readmitted postpartum complication patients
* Utilize equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring
* Document using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
* Must follow HCA ICARE standards of behavior
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and patient care focus are essential personality traits for this role

This facility is a dedicated birthing center offering specialized Labor & Delivery care within a comprehensive women's health environment. The unit supports a wide range of obstetric and gynecological services, including high-risk pregnancies, post-operative gynecological surgeries, and urogynecology procedures. The experienced team utilizes modern equipment and technology to deliver high-quality care to patients across the full spectrum of women's health needs.
