Open Position: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab Recovery

Job Details:

* Prep and recover all Cath Lab and EP Lab patients
* Three 12-hour shifts per week; two shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM and one shift from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
* 24-bed unit with a 3:1 patient ratio
* CNA support available on unit
* No weekly call or weekend requirements
* Rarely asked to float to IR Pre/Post; flex based on volume
* Perform sheath pulls, groin management, cardioversions, radial access site management, and general anesthesia recovery
* Work with IV pumps, specialty beds, bedside monitors, telemetry boxes, and Zoll equipment
* Document using Cerner system
* ICU or cardiac stepdown experience required; previous Cath/EP lab experience and moderate sedation experience preferred
* Experience with all cardiac diagnoses with emphasis on procedural patients including Cath, EP lab, and structural heart required
* Competency in pulling sheaths required
* Required certification: ACLS
* Green hospital-issued scrubs required
