Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* Rotating weekends every 3 to 4 weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Acute care experience required; acute cardiac care experience preferred
* ICU/CCU experience required as provider may be the only PT on weekends
* Wound care experience preferred but not required
* Perform physical therapy services for patients undergoing open heart surgery, TAVR, and LVAD implants
* Use Meditech EMR system
* Use iMobile communication platform to coordinate with hospitalists, case managers, and nursing staff
* Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs or khaki bottoms with navy polo top
* Must demonstrate respectful, patient-centered, and safety-conscious behavior
* Must be able to manage time and attendance independently
* Must be able to participate in high level of coordination and communication throughout the day

This specialized cardiac hospital operates across multiple floors with 72 beds and a dedicated therapy team consisting of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. The facility performs advanced cardiac procedures and fosters a highly collaborative and supportive environment with strong communication between providers and therapy staff. The hospital has received multiple local and national recognitions and maintains an experienced therapy team with decades of combined expertise, including a certified wound care therapist on staff.
