Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with holiday rotation
* No weekend requirement
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to CSC, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap sterile processing
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
* BLS not required
* Skills required include: high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, biological and chemical indicators, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, sterilization wrapping procedures, and use of washers/sterilizers
* Experience with robotics, neurology, orthopedics, urology, OB/GYN, cardiac, and transplant cases preferred
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
