CT Tech

Job Details:

* 13-week travel contract with ASAP start date
* 3x12 night shift schedule
* Weekend availability required
* No on-call requirements
* Must be available to float to X-ray department when needed
* Block scheduling not available at this time
* Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, Washington State License
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Performs CT scans including abdomen, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and pelvis with and/or without contrast
* Performs brain perfusion, vascular CTA, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
* Performs multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and works with PACS system
* Capable of preparing and administering contrast media
* Ability to start peripheral IVs
* Assists with aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures
* Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Works in a busy department covering ER and inpatient scans within a designated Stroke Center
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; requests exceeding 7 days may require additional approval
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

This short-term acute care facility operates 325 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services across a wide range of specialties. The facility features a busy imaging department that handles both emergency department and inpatient CT scans and serves as a designated Stroke Center. The organization is known for its excellent team environment and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system.
