Open Position: RN - Case Management

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2729.40

Opportunity:

Case Management

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of case management experience required; acute care hospital experience must be current within the last year
* First-time travelers accepted as a screen with clinical approval
* Travel experience required
* Every other weekend shift required
* No on-call responsibilities
* May be required to float between like units based on department needs
* Caseload of up to 25 patients
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required skills and experience include: HMO/IPA experience, advance directive/POLST/protective services process, discharge planning, care coordination, prior authorizations, appeals and denials, benefits eligibility, DRG knowledge, CMS/Medicare and Medicaid experience, needs assessment/DME ordering, HIPAA guidelines, and The Joint Commission/Core Measures/National Safety Goals
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Free parking provided on first day; assignment parking details provided during orientation
