Medical Assistant

Job Details:

* Work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift schedule
* 40 hours expected per week
* 13-week contract assignment
* Royal blue dress code required
* Free parking available
* Work with patients presenting with top diagnoses including hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, CHF, UTI, and pain management
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Basic computer skills required
* Minimum one year of work experience required
* Certificate verifying successful completion of a medical assistant training program from an accredited school required
* Current AHA BLS certification required and must be maintained throughout employment
* Must successfully complete all medical assistant orientation and training requirements including certification and annual skills competency
* Current certification as one of the following is required: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
