Job Details:

* Full-time position with a Monday through Friday varied schedule
* On-call responsibilities required
* Work primarily in a clinic and cath lab setting with potential need for hospital coverage
* Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms according to physician orders and department protocols
* Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns
* Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal imaging results while ensuring comfort and safety
* Operate ultrasound equipment to capture clear and accurate images of the heart and associated structures
* Analyze acquired images to identify abnormalities, anomalies, and potential pathology
* Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning
* Ensure proper documentation of procedures including patient information, image acquisition, and interpretation
* Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality
* Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
* Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous education
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Associate's or bachelor's degree required
* Current ARDMS or CCI registration required
* BLS certification required
