Job Details:
* Epic and Stroke Thrombectomy experience required - hard stop
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Unit ratio of 4 rooms with an average daily census of 25 patients
* Required systems: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Weekend requirement: every third weekend, no more than 2 weekends per month
* Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
* Call requirements: 3-person call team with 8-10 call shifts per month plus every third weekend, rotated among the team
* Holiday coverage expected: if 1-2 major holidays fall during the assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall during the assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Travel experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Key clinical skills include: interventional radiology, angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, IV vasopressors, blood product administration, cardioversion, PICC line care and maintenance, and activated clotting time (ACT)
* Additional support services available include IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
