Opportunity:
RT(R) (Cath Lab Tech/CVT)
Job Details:
* Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM with shift times varying between 6:00 AM?4:30 PM or 7:00 AM?5:30 PM depending on call schedule
* On-call responsibilities include 1-2 nights per week and every 4th weekend
* Weekday call (Monday?Thursday) runs from end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
* Weekend call (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) runs every 6th weekend from end of shift Friday until Monday at 7:00 AM
* 30-minute response time required for call
* 3-person call team consisting of 2 techs and 1 RN
* No floating required
* Rotating day off each week
* 1 holiday per contract on a call-only basis
* Perform approximately 8 cases per day across 2 Cath Labs
* Perform Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic/interventional, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, and loop recorders
* Perform EP procedures including Micra, pacemakers, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes
* Must be able to scrub and operate the table simultaneously
* Monitoring experience preferred
* Must assist with transporting own patients on telemetry monitor
* 1 year of Cath Lab experience accepted for travelers with prior travel experience; first-time travelers must have 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Required licensure: ARRT or RCIS License and Washington State License
* EMR system: EPIC
* IV pumps: Alaris
* Medication dispensing: Pyxis
* PACS: Picom
* Hemodynamic monitoring: Merge (experience preferred)
* C-arm: GE Alea (experience not required)
* Scrubs provided including lead; extended sizing available for scrubs but not for lead
* Free garage parking available
* Must have a positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
Facility:
This facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds, offering a full range of acute care services. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory operates with 2 cath labs and is supported by a comprehensive team including a charge nurse/lead tech, respiratory therapy available 24/7, hospitalists available 24/7, intensivists, an on-call cardiologist, and a rapid response and code team as needed. The facility utilizes modern technology and equipment to support a high standard of patient care.
