Opportunity:

Sleep Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Night shifts only with weekend coverage required
* Patient ratios of 1:2 for adults and 1:1 for pediatrics
* Work in a 6-room sleep lab unit serving adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patient populations
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Must hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioners License
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS, RPSGT, RRT, SDS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Must be proficient with Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units
* Required skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Adult and Pediatric MSLT, BiPAP, CPAP, ASV, VPAP, ECG, EEG, PSG and PSG scoring, Baseline Sleep Polysomnography, Cardiac abnormalities, Cheyne-Stokes, Complex Sleep Apnea, Hypopnea, Periodic Limb Movement (PLM), Periodic Breathing, Respiratory Events, Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography (RIP), Seizure Study, Sleep Stages, Transient arousals, O2 Saturation, Oxygen administration, Infection control, Patient education, Home Sleep Test, and Nasal Mask/Nasal Pillow/Full Face mask management
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, submitted during compliance process prior to start
