Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 4 days at 10-hour shifts or 8 days at 5-hour rotating schedule from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* 26-week assignment
* Work in an inpatient acute care facility on the Rehab Services unit (5th floor)
* Patient ratio of 8 to 10 patients daily
* Heavy weekend rotation required, including 2 to 3 weekends per month (Saturday and Sunday)
* No on-call requirements
* EMR system used is EPIC
* Acute care experience required
* OT Certification required for this assignment
* Must be an independent worker
* Dress code: Light green scrubs
* Alaska state fingerprint and state background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to start

Facility:

This facility is a well-established acute care hospital featuring a robust Rehab Services unit with 175 beds and a large therapy team of 60 providers including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapist assistants, and certified occupational therapy assistants. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and maintains a dynamic inpatient environment with a strong focus on rehabilitation and patient recovery.
