Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required, agency staff floats first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block scheduling can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics
* 12-bed unit
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This facility is a community hospital with a 12-bed ICU unit that provides specialized critical care services to adult and geriatric patients. The unit utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts. The facility supports an interdisciplinary care environment and provides 24-hour nursing coverage with weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
