Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every 3rd weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* May be required to float to like units to meet facility needs
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT)(R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT)(C)
* Required certifications: SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS
* Experience highly preferred in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS
* Scrub colors required: Teal blue top with black bottoms
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Radiation badge must be provided by agency
* Parking cost applies for nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Perform imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities, including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, musculoskeletal trauma, vascular CTA, and more
* Effectively explain procedures to patients and produce quality images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner
* Work with Siemens X-ray and Siemens CT equipment
* Handle primarily adult patients with some pediatric population
* Support interdisciplinary teams including radiology and interpretation services
* Common patient diagnoses include STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac conditions, and trauma

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. It offers a high-acuity environment with a robust range of patient care services, supporting diverse clinical specialties and complex diagnoses. The facility uses Epic for charting and Siemens equipment across imaging modalities, providing a technologically advanced setting for healthcare professionals.
