Opportunity:
Registered Dietitian
Job Details:
* 5x8 shift schedule, Monday through Friday with 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM start times
* No weekend or holiday shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian required
* Active RD/RDN certification required - must be active at time of submission, no pending licenses accepted
* Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required
* First time travelers accepted
* Proficiency in EPIC charting system required
* Experience with Computrition application preferred
* Healthcare food and nutrition service operations experience or comparable experience required
* Provide direct patient care in an inpatient acute care setting including nutrition assessments and reassessments
* Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Exams (NFPE) and develop plans of treatment
* Manage enteral nutrition (tube feedings), Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), and therapeutic diet orders
* Complete calorie counts, protein calorie malnutrition assessments, and nutrition therapy complications management
* Coordinate plan of care and provide patient education within scope of practice
* Perform case finding, complex menu review, and reconciliation of nutrition orders between systems
* Contribute to fiscal management of food service operations
* Organizational ability to coordinate multiple projects within established timeframes
* Must be able to stand and walk distances over the greater portion of the assigned shift
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated and no RTO within first 2 weeks of assignment
* Flu vaccination required - no exemptions
