Opportunity:

Peds Case Manager RN

Job Details:

* 5x8 day shift schedule with shift times varying between 7:00 AM?3:30 PM, 7:30 AM?4:00 PM, 8:00 AM?4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM?5:00 PM
* Monday through Friday business hours required
* Weekend coverage required every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4-week schedule
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks
* No on-call required
* Must float within case manager services to cover gaps as needed
* Pediatric and/or NICU experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Acute care hospital experience required; behavioral health experience does not apply
* Epic EMR experience required
* Alaska RN license required
* ACM-RN certification preferred
* BLS preferred but not required
* Microsoft Office/Teams experience preferred
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic
* Parking is free
* Patient ratio: 30 patients (days)
* Responsible for discharge planning, care coordination, continued stay reviews, determining medical necessity, prior authorizations, pre-certification reviews, and needs assessments
* Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility no locals accepted
* Willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
* Only 1 time-off request per 13-week assignment of 5 days or less; no holiday RTO for auto offer
