Opportunity:

RN - Operating Room / Perioperative Services

Job Details:

* Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and other perioperative services areas
* Act as a patient advocate throughout all perioperative care settings
* Meet surgical standards of nursing practice
* Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including pediatric and geriatric populations
* Adequately assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques
* Collaborate with the healthcare team including RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, physicians, and ancillary disciplines in patient and family assessment
* Maintain skills in setting priorities, organizing workload effectively, and managing multiple assignments with multilevel personnel
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and attentiveness to detail
* Maintain thorough knowledge of sterile technique
* Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care planning
* Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
* Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license required
* BSN preferred
