Job Details:

* Day shift position working 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
* On-call every Friday, alternating between first and second call
* One weekend call every 5 to 6 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Epic EMR experience required
* Da Vinci robotic surgical system experience required
* BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred
* Must hold current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice
* BLS certification from AHA-approved vendor required
* ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required
* PALS certification (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing, and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
