Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM required; a day off during the week will be provided when Saturday is scheduled
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2 to 3 weekend shifts required per month
* Float between 4 sites: Guilford, North Haven, and two New Haven locations
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* 4 years of experience required; travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Skills required include: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Inpatient, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Serves adult patient population
* Radiology interdisciplinary support available
* Guaranteed hours provided
* Pre-approved time off: up to 1 request; requests exceeding 7 days require approval

Facility:

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 total staffed beds. The organization operates multiple medical center locations across the region, offering a wide range of specialty services including oncology and radiology. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a collaborative, interdisciplinary care environment.
