Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call requirements
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per tech
* On-call required with 30-minute response time
* Call weekend rotates, starting Friday at 7:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM (rotating AM and PM as first and backup call)
* Weekend requirement is call only
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
* First-time travelers not accepted; prior experience required
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs if necessary, but will more than likely remain in Cath Lab
* No floating to sister facilities required
* Active WV license required to start assignment; ARRT registration required
* WV does not consider RCIS as licensed to work in the Cath Lab
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided
* Parking is free for travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
* Required skills: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Scrub Procedures, Equipment Setup, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Room Circulator, Scrub - Maintain Sterile Field, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Sterile Technique
