Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 48 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week assignment length
* Med/Oncology floor with 39 beds
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and 2 CNAs
* Patient ratio of 1:6 on night shift
* Work with equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Arjo lifts, Novastat, and in-room computers
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform typical Med/Oncology procedures and patient care responsibilities
* Must demonstrate exceptional communication and strong time management skills
* Medication safety compliance required with a minimum of 98% of all medications safely scanned and administered
* Chemotherapy certification preferred
* Flexibility to work days or nights preferred
* Friendly, team-oriented personality with ability to make strong personal connections required
* Required certifications: RN License and BLS
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Two weekends per month required
* On-call only if low volume
* Float coverage to Surgical/Orthopedic and Rehabilitation units may be required
